What you'd be doing
Further development of the embedded systems for our business units Professional Business (fountain controls) and Consumer Business (IoT).
Evaluation and integration of new technologies, standards and safety requirements.
Implementation of development-related tests for quality assurance.
Working closely with our app team to specify the interfaces of our IoT devices (illumination, filtration, pumps, water features, aquaristics, and sensing).
What you bring
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering / computer science or a comparable technical education or qualification.
Sound professional experience in the development of embedded systems.
Very good programming skills in C or C++.
Experienced handling of cloud-based systems, preferably Microsoft Azure, knowledge of C# and Visual Basic desirable.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and Linux as well as experience with modern development tools, such as Visual Code, Eclipse, Git and Jira, are advantageous.
Hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing electronic prototypes using common measuring and testing equipment.
Very good German and good written and spoken English.
Willingness to have an on-site presence in Hörstel.
A high level of comprehension, team spirit with an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
