The ScaperLine Soil in the 9-liter package is the perfect base for a planted aquascape – this active substrate ensures a beautiful appearance and provides the best conditions for lush plant growth. It softens the water and creates a slightly acidic pH range that is ideal for most aquarium plants. Active soil can also absorb nutrients from the water and release them again as needed – this buffering effect is ideal for sustainably good plant growth. The 2-4 mm grain size of our ScaperLine Soil is perfectly suited for small, medium, and large aquascapes and provides excellent support for plant roots. The brown color gives the substrate a very natural look. The soil is ready to use immediately; no rinsing is necessary.
