The Oase ScaperSoil Small in the 3-liter bag is a suitable base for planted aquascapes. The active substrate provides an attractive appearance and supports the growth of aquarium plants and root development. The fine grain is suitable for use in smaller aquariums or for covering coarser soil layers. This provides a secure hold for plant roots. ScaperSoil Small can soften the water and promote a slightly acidic pH range that is beneficial for many aquarium plants. Active soil can absorb nutrients from the water and release them again as needed. This buffering effect supports plant growth. The soil is suitable for various aquascape sizes. It is ready to use immediately; no rinsing is required. The black color of the substrate creates a striking contrast for plants and fish.
