The ScaperLine Soil in the 3-liter package is a suitable base for planted aquascapes. This active substrate provides an attractive appearance and supports the growth of aquarium plants. It can soften the water and promote a slightly acidic pH range, which is beneficial for many aquarium plants. Active soil can also absorb nutrients from the water and release them again as needed. Its buffering capacity supports healthy plant growth. The grain size of the ScaperLine Soil is suitable for small, medium, and large aquascapes and provides support for plant roots. The black color of the substrate creates a striking contrast for plants and animals. The soil is ready to use immediately; no rinsing is required. The soil granules are fired at lower temperatures, making them stable yet not too hard.
