The people we answer to
Responsibility only means something when you know who it is for. We stay in regular contact with the stakeholder groups our work affects, and who, in turn, shape it: our employees across the 16 countries we operate in; our customers and trade partners, from retail and aquatics to public fountain and water-technology projects; the communities around our sites in Hörstel, Hof, Taicang and beyond; and our suppliers, regulators, and owners. Understanding what each stakeholder group needs from us, and where the risks and opportunities lie, is the starting point for everything on these pages.
Sustainability
How we measure our impact, and where we act.
We cannot reduce what we do not understand. So our sustainability work starts with measurement and honest assessment, building the foundation before we set the targets.
At Oase, sustainability is built into how we work, not bolted on afterward.
We measure our complete carbon footprint across all three scopes. Most of our impact, around 93 percent, sits in our value chain, which is exactly where we are focusing our efforts. Our products lead the way: innovations like our Core 6 pump technology and the Aquarius Eco Premium 4500, roughly 74 percent more efficient than its predecessor, prove that performance and responsibility belong together. We are also moving packaging from plastic to cardboard across our brands.
Behind this is clear accountability. A dedicated CSR department, guided by a committee of senior leaders and overseen at C-level, coordinates our work across every part of the business.
Looking ahead, we are deepening our commitment: preparing formal sustainability reporting, strengthening transparency across our supply chain, investing in our people through training and wellbeing, and engaging the next generation through partnerships with vocational/professional schools and universities.
